Groundbreaking tips for weight loss after Diwali

Diwali is the perfect time of year to indulge. As friends and family celebrate  together and sweets are extravagantly distributed, high calorie temptation is just next to you. And IF you are fighting the battle with that extra bulge of yours, making a tremendous effort to keep your weight and health in check then surely difficulty bar raises for you. When all your aunties visit at your place and forcefully put that piece of kaju katri in your mouth saying 'kha le beta,Diwali hai!!' All you do is just open your mouth and think kuch meetha ho jaye for all those delicacies because of Maa ka pyaar and aunties ka dulaar.

It is 100% impossible to deprive oneself  with all those chakli and ladoo in the midst of all celebrations and joy.
Thus a post Diwali detox is obligatory. What you eat after diwali can undo those extra kilos easily.
So here are a few tips about how would you lose those kilos and embrace your healthy lifestyle once again.

1• CUT DOWN SWEETNESS:

You've had more than you were supposed to and your body is full of sugar*sugar * sugar* everywhere. So just restrict your sugar intake for a next few days. Ensure that you dont add unnecessary sugars and satisfy your cravings with natural sugar available in fruits.
Eat apples as they are naturally sweet and help in satisfying your cravings.

2• AWAY FROM BEAVRAGES:

Drinking all those packed juices and cold drinks and energy drinks not only adds sugar to your system but also makes you prone to type 2 Diabetes.
Drink plain water for a week or so, especially right after Diwali, when your body is already saturated with sugar. You can then slowly cut these drinks out of your daily diet. If you can't avoid your cup of coffee or tea, removing just two teaspoons of sugar can save you an extra 30 calories a day, which can add up to a kilo of weight loss every year.. And if you really are used to packed juices then try making them at home fresh, but eating fruits over juices is always a better option. This is because the fruit may lose some of its nutrients and essential vitamins  when it comes in contact with air. So better eat the whole fruit than the juice.

3. EAT LIGHT BUT FREQUENTLY:
Eating light food throughout the day with milk in the morning can make you feel fuller and milk will also manage the protein quotient in your diet

4• ALL FOOD IS GOOD:
Do not complicate food. Food freshly prepared at home with love is what works. Dont overload  your stomach or starve.. just eat what you love to , but with certain amount which your body can manage to metabolise.

5•KEEP YOUR BODY HYDRATED:

Drink at least 10 glass of water daily so that it helps to revitalise your body and makes your metabolism quick. You will start feeling more energetic if your body is well hydrated.

6. WORKOUT:
There's no escape. Workout!! Hit the gym or excercise at home. Excercise not only combats diseases but also stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed.

Its absolutely fine to eat sweets and fried during Diwali. Its best to enjoy it in quantities you will be comfortable with so that you dont feel stuffed in your stomach and guilty in your head.

EAT RIGHT. STAY FIT.
